Draught. Orange and hazy. Aroma is citrusy and pleasant. Flavor is slightly sweet with lots of citrusy hop goodness. Bracingly bitter on the back of the tongue. Sweetness never becomes cloying and it leads to a long, dry finish. Impressive. kxkeller (32), Copenhagen, Denmark

A nice aroma dominated by the piny hops, much like their Imp. IPA. Taste is much like it as well - sweet and piny - but without the alcoholic notes. Nice. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2007 This is the best beer at the brewpub, but that goes without saying to a hophead. It pours a hazy light amber with a thick white head that does some intricate lacing. The aroma is heavy with resinous pine, grapefruit, and lemon zest scents. The caramel in the flavor has just enough backbone to support the intense PNW bitterness that remain in the prolonged, bitter, peppery finish. A well crafted IPA.

Pours copper with a lasting, thin white head and attractive lacing. Aroma is mild malt and aromatic American hops. Well-hopped with caramelized malts in the flavor. Medium-full body and moderately carbonated. A very drinkable IPA. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
