Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Mar 11, 2009 Very dark brown pour with no real head. Sweet aroma, with some chocolate notes. Astringent, with lots of tannens and alcohol flavors. Moderate carbonation with alcohol warming. Pretty bad compared to all their other beers. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 23, 2007 This poured a dark chestnut body with a slender beige head. Nice aroma of lightly roasted malts, burnt caramel, and a touch of smoke. The flavor sweetens up a bit but is cut by an earthy/herbal bitterness. Pretty good.

Cable (286), SE, Oklahoma, USA Feb 26, 2006 Sampled on draft at Vinos. Pours dark chocolate brown in color. A mild, malty aroma and a rich, toasted malt with caramel and chocolate flavor. There’s a faint hint of apple or pear as well. Medium-full body with light carbonation. A well-made beer. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Feb 24, 2006 Draught. Pours brown, nutty caramel, with a small tan frothy head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate malt (roasted, smoke, nutty-huge), milky cocoa and cookies. Nutty malt, no acidity, low bitterness, low sweetness, woodsy flavor, chocolate malt milkshake, brown sugar and molasses. Medium bodied and smooth palate. ericmc83 (200), Arkansas, USA Nov 26, 2005 Deep, cloudy red. Sweet flavor of dark berries. Good overall, in my opinion.
