Commercial Description:
Brown Ale is a dark and full-bodied ale inspired by the historical brown ales of London. The complex malt flavour has notes of chocolate and the roasted malt provides a fine after-taste. The mild proportioning of hops gives place for the malts which makes the beer highly suitable for meat courses, a cold buffet or as a beer to end a long day. Claus Tarstrup, Brewmaster

Deep brown-red colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized beige head. Milk-chocolate dominates this aroma with slight roastiness and caramel sweet aroma, thin glue also present with some sour berries. Medium bodied. Flavor is more dry with mild chocolate still, some hops also here.

Draught at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Cloudy brown color; creamy head. Aroma of milk chocolate drink. The body is medium thin, soft but with too much carbonation, with dry caramel flavor, harsh yeast traces and just a light touch of roasted malt. Strong bitterness.
