Bottled. Pours dark, reddish brown, and is topped by a dense, beige head. Dried fruits dominate the aroma, but there’s also some sourness and alcohol. Raisins and hints of other dried fruits starts off the flavor, and is followed by fruityness and some alcohol. Full-bodied, nice dubbel who could use some more complexity. (061222)

Clear medium to dark red amber color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar, metalic - like silver plates, solvent notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110708)

Sep 3, 2008 Bottle from kris wines. Aroma is rich dark candy sugar, vinous, slightly tart, really fruity, really rich stuff. Taste is a similar bag of cheese, quite complex but still very drinkable. A suprisingly good beer.

Jul 17, 2008 Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s dark, red mahogany and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, spice and a little licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, light licorice, spice and alcohol. It’s a bit edgy and out of balance.

Jul 10, 2008 33cl bottle @ Plan-B, Copenhagen. BB 04/06. Pours muddy brown with a small creamy head. Aroma/taste is super sweet, round / vinous. Port, sugar, caramel & dark fruits. Smooth & soft - low carbonaition. Well matured & enjoyable!
