Styles (1653), Taylor, Michigan, USA May 16, 2008 Courtesy of the brothers K. Golden with huge frothy head. Aroma and flavor have a nice balance of grass/hay/citrus, decent malt backbone. Not very clean, more hopped up pale ale than anything.
Goodgrief (1055), Middletown, Delaware, USA Oct 7, 2008 KSBF 08 - Cloudy straw color, some fluffy head present. Smell was strongly grassy. This puppy had some hops. Phew! The hop level approached SA Hallertau Impy Pilsner, but more complexity. Grass, hay and maybe even a little citrus. Nice full mouthfeel. Unique and pleasant. afireinside96 (498), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 5, 2008 On tap at KSBF ’08. Lightly hazed golden body topped by a nice head.
