Clear pale golden color, big white head. Malty sweet scent, some vegetables. Malty, grainy, dry taste. Thin mouthfeel, dry grainy bitterness.

50cl bottle from local Co-Op. Seems to be identical to the Vratislav Premium sold at Tescos - I even managed to pick up bottles with the same batch number. Straw with a fast fading white head; fresh, grassy aroma; some grain and honey flavour but rather thin and watery; green hops to finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Tesco. Typical Czech colouring with a frothy white head that resolves to a thin film. Slightly grassy hop aroma with malt predominating. Mostly malt in taste with hoppy overtones. Crisp finish. Perfectly acceptable beer, if nothing special. Retails at Tesco for 99 pence a bottle which is unbelievable value. One for the discerning cheapskate.

bottle from Co-op Honiton. Clear golden yellow colour, white head. Solid malty body, finishing with some rather mediocre hoppy flavours.

bottle. Golden yellow, medium-sized head. Malty nose, malty flavour, slightly hoppy, especially towards the finish and aftertaste. Standard and average Czech lager.

Bottle. Pours golden with slight white head. Aroma of hops, crisp, generic pilsener flavour. Not much to critique, but not a bad beer.
