GAManiac (352), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 10, 2008 On tap at the Brick Store. Pours a bright, hazy fluorescent yellow with a decent head that lingers for a while and leaves good lacing. The aroma has lots of citrus with orange dominating and a generous helping of spices. The taste starts out with orange zest and lemons and gives way to an earthy malt and Belgian yeast backbone before the the citrus comes back strong in the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit light and watery without being refreshing. This is a little short as a wit in my book. smith4498 (386), Miami, Florida, USA Oct 8, 2008 Pours hazy straw color with minimal white head. Aroma of wheat and orange peel. Sour lemon and wheat flavors. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. This one is just not doing anything for me. sebletitje (404), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2008 Courtesy of Tony @ OTH.
Pours golden, white head.
Aroma, reminded me of asperagus, yeasty with farm notes.
Taste about the same, vegetable notes, with some fruits (orange/citrus), some floral hops. Beer gained in spices and aroma as it warmed up. nearbeer (1338), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 26, 2008 33 cl. Hazy golden with a two-finger head that quickly sizzles away to a small lasting ring. A few spots of lace. Aroma of citrus, resin and coriander is a bit harsh. Taste is too much tart lemon for my buds; with little if any estery banana-bubblegum flavors for balance, although some dry bitterish wheat is present. Light body is tingly and extremely acidic-dry. blutt59 (800), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 9, 2008 bottle, orange grapefruit juice pour, head is short lived, flavor is a very nice sour spicy grapefruit with a little banana thrown in, very smooth finish
