| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Bottle: Poured a light orangey color ale with a small bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of weird spices is not the most enticing. Taste is different from your average wit but not necessarily for the best; there is way too much orange peel with limited coriander which contributed to the misbalance character of this beer. Body is slightly oily and not full at all. Weird take on a style that doesn’t provide much error margin to begin with. johnnydollar (35), greenville, South Carolina, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Aroma was spicey and sour orange. Poured yellow and bubbly. Flavor was off to me yeasty and wheat but it didn’t mix well with bitterness. Palate was thin but finish left a hard boiled egg yolk taste. Oh well. jason (1626), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2006 Thanks to Jasonmech77 for breaking out this magnum bottle at the tasting...
Appears a hazed light orange with a small white head that quickly fades into a mild cap. Little speckles of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of dusty, spiced, pils malt, along with pepper and vanilla.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a mild citrusy funkiness going on.
Mouthfeel beads off the tip of the tongue to a chalky, dry finish.
Overall, it’s not what I had expected from a witbier.
