| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2004 Some moderate carbonation and initial head but absolutely no head retention (could be due to my dishwasher POWERBALLS but I doubt it based on the carbonation in the mouthfeel). The aroma has a light spicyness and citrusy orange peel notes with only a little coriander, a bit of wheat. Very good to style in the aroma. The wheat is a little too musky in the flavor, carbonation too low and the spices aren’t assertive enough for me. The finish is tangy with yeast notes. This is a good witbier, but it’s just missing something that I like in a good one. It also has a bit of tart leatherness after a while that adds to the uniqueness. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 9, 2004 Fully hazy (end of bottle is pure yeast) orange-gold; no head. Citric nose, lemonbalm, slightly lactic, something vaguely medicinal. Spritzy acidic, overlying a very spicey-medicinal taste (mannah? paradise seed?) - not quite sweet, faint orange peel. Bit musty. Light, spritzy mouthfeel. Refreshing notes from the acidity are counteracted by the rather dull-musty medicinal flavours. I’ll never dig the witbier style. This one’s uncharacteristic (it’s Regenboog after all!), but it still isn’t my cuppa tea. sloth (1672), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 11, 2004 Small white head fades quickly. Pretty, hazy orange color. Light citrusy nose, amonia? Light body, mildly puckering. Fruity, lemony, spicey flavors with a touch of cinnamon spices and a mild yeastiness. Finish is dry, citrusy. kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2004 Medium gold w/ a minimal short lived white head. Seems almost too dark and clear for a wit! Aroma is definitely coriander w/ hints of orange peel when chilled. Orange becomes much stronger when it warms, and there's a little bit of wheat malt and floral hop aroma; yeasty spice as well. Aromatically one of the most appealing Wits I've ever put my nose over! Seemingly well balanced but definitely tart w/ acidity. Some maltiness, citrusy fruit flavor, and coriander, but all are not as dominant in the flavor as they were in the aroma. Lightly dry finish with a light hop aftertaste. Lightly prickly m/f, light medium body, overall low on carbonation for style IMHO w/ a drier m/f. Overall very good beer. Aromatically superior to may other Wits that I've had, but not quite as flavorful as I'd hoped. argo0 (6897), Washington DC, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2004 Light on the palate. Says it's brewed with coriander and spices so I expected the same old Witbier but this one has a refreshing orange/citrus feel to it. Nice. WabashMan (802), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2004 A nice lemony citrus wit with a good earthy aroma and a nice cloudy color. Really easy drinking, and quite nice. Frank (1066), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 4, 2004 Very cloudy yellow. No head. No lae. Nose is mild, kinda floral, kinda metallic. Very light bodied, zesty carbonation. Quite tart, almost edging toward lambic. I can't be 100% certain the bottle I tried was not infected. It didn't taste bad at all like infected beers normally do, just sour. Interesting.
