Yellow orange hue with quickly disapating head. Mouthfeel is light with very little aftertaste. Taste like a bland orange. Acidic at first, but becomes completely bland. Too much orange peel, needs some additional ingredients to add mouthfeel and head retention...

Damn. I wish I read the reviews before buying this. It sounded interesting so I figured I’d give it a try. Pours a dirty yellow color with a quick fading white head. Aroma wasn’t bad; oranges, yeast and some lemons. The mouthfeel on this is very carbonated and like seltzer. Overall pretty thin. The flavor is pretty weak as well with some orange coriander, lemon, some spice and maybe mango and overall wheaty and acidic. Tastes like a combination of fruit juice and seltzer water. Which isn’t good... I’ll give the Belgians a mulligan on this one.

Bottle. Acidic, slightly overspiced aroma (wheat malt, coriander, and orange peel), slightly metallic. Sickly pale yellow with a noisy white head. Very tart, lightly sour taste, thin and watery body with sticky, grating citrus and light ginger. Just really doesn’t come together at all.

This was sickly over spiced to me, and was reminiscent of unwashed armpit, lots of clove and coriander here. Very light cereal maltiness. A very nondescript offering.

Bottle, bought @ Tønden, Haslev.
[my 500th Belgian beer!]
Pours muddy pale yellow-orange with next-to no head. Aroma is quite powerful. Lots of lemons, oranges, mandarine with coriander really coming through. Quite high carbonation. Flavour is sweet and malty with some zeisty lemon and good spiciness. Pretty average for a wit, but on the good side of average.

Bottle pour at The Publick House in Brookline. Utterly non-descript. Just average. There are many better wits out there. No real spice notes, no citrus on the palate.... just non-descript. No better or worse than some of the new mass domestic wit offerings that are out there (like the plethora of offerings from Blue Moon - Spring, Harvest, Honey, etc.).

Pours a bright lemony yellow color. Also it has a slight cloudy haze. A nice head retention but limited lacing. The smell is light limited Belgium notes are present as well. There is a zing smell that has a somewhat campaign quality to it. There are notes of citrus and orange. The taste is a little too bright and tangy for a wit. Really has more of a stronger carbonation that limits other flavors. Some qualities are noticeable, like the orange and white pepper. But limited malt backing that is really sweet and not much of a wheat flavor (even for a Belgium) is noticeable. The carbonation is high and the body is light. Overall Im not impressed. But it is nice to have an actual Belgium beer.

Bottle... Cloudy, light yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Lactic, grainy aroma provides olfactory blasts of cereal grain, sharp cheese and pineapple. Light-bodied with prickly carbonation. Starts tart, then sweetness kicks in and doesn’t quite ruin the pleasant acidity; softens it, though. Strange and fruity. Finishes tangy and funky, but too sweet. Thanks go out to darkguardian!
