KnutAlbert (2313), Oslo, Norway Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from Prague.
Malty, rather sweet. Lots of grain, smooth, full moth feel. Some alcohol, not too well balanced. I’d rather have a draft Czech lager!
omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 19, 2008 Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Citric grassy nose. Medium sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Slimmer than expected with good amounts of citric hops and long bitterness. Less sweet than most Czech lagers of this size, making it more attractive and drinkable. DSG (867), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 Deep golden color with a medium white head. Aroma has some sweet maltiness, caramel notes and some slightly floral hoppiness with hints of citrus. Sweet malty flavor with caramel notes and a bit later some nice, quite citrusy, hoppiness. Good. oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Jul 8, 2008 Bottled. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is very spicy and malts with some mild fruityness and hoppyness. Flavour is the same in a nice and pleasant way. Very wellbalanced. Though, this illusion gets smashed with the huge amounts of metal showing up in the finish and aftertaste. gnoff (2825), Göteborg, Sweden Jul 6, 2008 (355 ml bottle thanks to oh6gdx!)
