Commercial Description:
Harvest Amber celebrates the bounty of Indiana's agriculture. Made with only barley, hops, yeast and water, Harvest Amber contains no corn or rice adjuncts, ingredients that are normally reserved for cheaper, lesser quality beers.

i think i had an old bottle. pours hazy yellow with big white head. aroma is musty and grassy with a light citrus hiding there. drinks the same with an overwhelming must that just kills it for me.

Above average carbonation. Light, citrusy flavor, with very little aftertaste and almost no bitterness. Thin texture.

Dark orange pour with a large white head. Sweet aroma of citrus and fruits. Light body. Flavor of sweet malts, citrus, some yeast at the finish.

Draft sample at Keg Fest. Poured clear amber color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet malt & hoppy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Balanced drinkable beer.

12oz - Subtle aroma of toasted malts, caramel and some hops. Pours transparent amber with a medium head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma with a sweet aftertaste. Palate is sticky. Not a bad session brew.

Looks like someone rushed to enter the Wabash line after I’d mentioned it on the threads. No matter. The amber, actually named Wabash Harvest Amber Ale (and I suspect the other beers have "Wabash" in their names, too, as seen on www.wabashbeer.com), has a good looking pour, a clear amber body with a large ecru head that laces heavily. The aroma is a tad too sweet - apples, toffee & caramel - offset by a perfumey floral bouquet. Seems a bit thin, but manages to deliver the sweetness that the nose promises. No real indication of any hops in the flavor. I’ll probably end up trying the other Wabash brand beers, but only if I can do single bottle purchases like I did for this one.
