Nov 29, 2009 Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Gold colour with thick lasting cream off white head. Sulphur and yeast on aroma, some citrus hop. OK condition. It’s alright, but not much to it, some yeast character and faint hop on finish.

Nov 28, 2009 Earlsdon Spoons. Resolving fog of orange-amber becoming lagery and lace-draped. Burton dung and egg aroma; straw, light floral hop, horse shit and sesame through the choking Gilette. Notes of dough, almond,soap and minerals. lemon and grassy hop, Jammy Dodger malts. Clean and biscuity with too much cherry stone. Slick and silky. Too easy.

Nov 18, 2009 Cask conditioned handpump Briar Rose Birmingham. A golden coloured beer with a bit of a white head. The aroma is pretty non eventful with just an odd yeasty note. The taste has some biscuity malts with some fruit and a bit of bitterness. Ordinary.
