dnas2 (522), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England May 16, 2008 Cask. Golden with a short dense head. Orange-citrus hop scent with some biscuit malt also present. Moderate bitterness, slightly dry, but with a hint of sweetness. Earthy-citric hops and grassy malts. Not bad. bobinlondon (215), Harrow, Greater London, England Jul 13, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Kenton, Harrow. Blonde with a healthy white head and loads of conditioning. Fruity blond bitter, with peach and apricot. Some earthy hop. It’s one of the better regional beers I’ve tried of late. cgarvieuk (2302), Edinburgh, Scotland Aug 15, 2007 Cropredy festival 2007 ... good to see a new beer here ... Pale golden yellow ... light lagery hop nose ... soft and gentle some hop that i identify with beers often called somethign gold.(oh i wish i knew) and a light fruity hoppyness Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Sep 29, 2007 Aug 07 Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Suprisingly fresh citric hoppiness with quite restrained malts. Reasonable hoppy bite in the fairly clean finish. Has a tendency to be a bit flabby and unimpressive when not in the best condition . harrisoni (5106), Ashford, Kent, England Feb 5, 2008 Cask conditioned handpull at The Castle, Chancery Lane. Gold, beige head. Fruity blond bitter, with peach and apricot. Some earthy hop. It’s quite pleasant. The fruit isn’t really my style, but given my ambivalence to Wadworth, this isn’t bad. Still not too exciting.
