Hmm. Looks good out of the bottle. Dark dark dark brown with a reddish tint. Thin tan head. Aroma is somewhat standard though a bit light - coffee, roasted malt. Sweet palate with quite a bit of hops to back it. Well carbonated. Just not quite enough there for a sweet stout. But I don’t buy the average rating of 2.7 There are some truly crappy beers getting that rating.

Aroma is dominated bygreekolives (damnthis busted spacebar). Pours deep black with a nice brown head. Flavor is a huge mess:starts with sour fruitiness, covered bya touch of hops andmalts... sounds pretty good but its really all overthe place and rather unpleasing. Still, the palateis kindanice.

Pas pire, mais très amère. Le malt de caramel est trop roti et sa saveur n’est peu présente.

Pours deep dark brown with almost a red/purple hue in the light. Barely a head to speak of. Just leaves a tan ring around the glass. Aroma of coffee, grass and a little sweet chocolate. Initial flavor is cigarette butt and coffee bean then balances with a touch of sweetness. Palate is a bit thin and finishes sweet.

Almost spicy with a sweet end in the aroma. Deep black with a large head. Thin with an out of place malt sweetness that has no accompanying stout-like balance. Comes off like a thick schwarzbier.

Pours deep brown with a nice tan head. Roasted aroma. Taste is cardboardy, wtih roasted notes. Slight bitter and dry. Decent mouthfeel. Not amazing, but worth a shot.

12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a thick tan head. Roasted malt comes through in the aroma and flavor. Also some caramel and coffee flavors present. A bit thin tasting but quite smooth for a stout.

Opaque black in colour with hardly any carbonation. Aromas are of espresso, nuts, and roasted malts. There’s a slight licorice note flavor note along with your typical roasted coffee and caramel malt stout flavors. Slightly thin bodied. A straight ahead stout. Thanks Lubiere
