Jan 6, 2005 Dark black pour with minimal head. Aroma of malt, some slight oats and barnyard. Tastes malty, with some ginger, Coca-cola flavors, and a semi-dilute palate with minor finishing caramel. Forgettable.

Sep 27, 2004 Elle a aussi fière allure qu’un bon verre de Pepsi et si on se force on peut en détecter les arômes... Sérieusement, c’est une stout plutôt simple. Un collet qui s’efface rapidement. Le nez est très subtile. La texture en bouche est légèrement crémeuse. Au goût, amertume du houblon. Le malt rôtie est moins perceptible que chez les autres bières du même style.

Jun 12, 2004 Big thick head, almost black in appearance. Very presentable stout. Rather hoppy, roasty aroma, pleasant. Medium bodied, oily, medium chocolate roast. This stout has a good plan but failed to implement.

Jun 10, 2004 Quiet roasted malt aroma with notes of bitter coffee grounds. Opaque black with thin, lasting tan head. Somewhat plain - lightly roasty chocolate flavour. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Bottle (sampled at Mondial 2004).

Jun 7, 2004 Bottle. Black body with a billowy tan head. Muted roasty aroma. Flavour profile leaves me feeling like there is not much here. Not unpleasant but a surprisingly light bland stout. Mondial 4T (Capflu).

Jun 3, 2004 Bottle: Poured with a medium tan head. Not much aroma, some roasted grains, chocolate, coffee, dish soap. The bottle claims this is an oatmeal stout, but I’m not tasting any here. Light roasted malt flavors, semi-sweet chocolate, some very mild fruit flavors with no oatmeal anywhere. Mouthfeel is not as creamy and full as I would expect with an Oatmeal Stout. Skip this one.
