Bottle. Pours black with an obnoxiously large tan head. Aroma is light with hints of roasted malt and maybe some cocoa. Very thin body for a stout, and way to carbonated. Flavor begins with a slight roasted malt, followed by some notes of burnt wood, and ends with a slight metallic taste. Pretty disappointing, one of the least impressive stouts I’ve tried.

Bottle; nothing about Caywood Station on the label. Nearly black with a frothy beige head. Smell is milky sweet. This turns out to be a very fizzy stout, somewhat light in body. The flavor isn’t really that sweet though. The back end is roasted to the point of being burnt. Somewhat bitter coffee/chocolate. I don’t mind this as much as I mind the body.

Foam Rangers January meeting. Dark color with a nose of sweet roasted flavors. Thin and unimpressive. Didn’t enjoy.

Opaque pour with no head. Sweet roasted flavor. Very thin for a stour, sweet roasty flavor with a decent amount of bitterness, dry finish. nothign special and rather light for a stout.

Bottle. Pours an impenetrable black with a large lasting tan head. Mild aroma starts sweet and fruity followed by caramel malt, cocoa and some light roast and oats. Flavour of lightly roasted malt, coffee, some sweetness, oats, a hint of cocoa and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. A decent Stout.

Pours a deep brown with a smaller bubbly/creamy off white head. Aroma of light smoke, roasted malts, oats, choclate and some bandaide. Flavors of the same...kind of thin and nothing special.
