Commercial Description:
Caywood Station was a picturesque railroad station located just southwest of the micro brewery off the Caywood Road. This robust, full-bodied oatmeal stout is rich in highly roasted malt flavor, rounded off by a touch of oats, caramel malt and Fuggles and Willamette hops. Bouteille.

Pours a dark brown color with a huge amount of froathy tan head. Aroma is malty, cream, sweet caramel and oats. Flavor is very creamy and slightly lactic, roasted dark chocolate and coffee. Overall, one of my fav wagner valley beers.

Pours black with a tan head that quickly fades. Aroma is faint and diary like. Taste is nothingness, some roasty coffee but very faint as well. Very watery, thin body. Leaves an empty feeling in my mouth.

12oz bottle via trade with beastiefan2k - pours very dark brown with a tall tan head that fades to a ring and laces some. Aromas of light roasted malts and light coffee with grassy hops, Flavor is much like the aroma with some liccorice on the finish. Palate is light and watery.

Big thick head, almost black in appearance. Rather hoppy, roasty aroma. Medium bodied, medium hoppy and chocolate roast. This stout is a typical stout. Too hoppy for my taste.

Hmm. Looks good out of the bottle. Dark dark dark brown with a reddish tint. Thin tan head. Aroma is somewhat standard though a bit light - coffee, roasted malt. Sweet palate with quite a bit of hops to back it. Well carbonated. Just not quite enough there for a sweet stout. But I don’t buy the average rating of 2.7 There are some truly crappy beers getting that rating.

Aroma is dominated bygreekolives (damnthis busted spacebar). Pours deep black with a nice brown head. Flavor is a huge mess:starts with sour fruitiness, covered bya touch of hops andmalts... sounds pretty good but its really all overthe place and rather unpleasing. Still, the palateis kindanice.

Pas pire, mais très amère. Le malt de caramel est trop roti et sa saveur n’est peu présente.
