Black; hoppy-fruity nose; overcarbonated; touches of roast and blueberry. Carbo kills this one.

Courtesy of Coldbrewky, thank you Steve. Black with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and some licorice/cough medicine. The flavour has a roasted bitterness and some licorice notes, but IMO it’s body is thin and lack complexity and the nice features of an oatmeal stout. 2037

Bottle... Pours pitch black with a huge, frothy, well-tanned, everlasting head. Diminishes to a small, permanent, creamy layer. The aroma is all molasses, chocolate and espresso. Full-bodied and very creamy with soft carbonation. Medium-sweet with heaps of molasses and roasted nuts layered over nudges of coffee and chocolate. Deeply roasted, bittersweet finish. A big SHOUT goes out to juiceisloose for passing this surprisingly good beer on to me!

Straightforward roastiness over fresh blackberry juice...Contained burnt milk and sustained back bitterness...No virtuosity here, just a plain old, well-done, roasty, fruity stout...

Pours dark brown with a huge light brown head. Smells of sweet malt. Tastes sugary, tarte and underattenuated.

Dark black pour with minimal head. Aroma of malt, some slight oats and barnyard. Tastes malty, with some ginger, Coca-cola flavors, and a semi-dilute palate with minor finishing caramel. Forgettable.
