Bottle. Poured with a gigantic tan head. Had all of the good things I love in a stout. Nice and hoppy with a sweet roasted malt taste and a clean yet bitter finish.

Bottle. Black with thin creamy head. I really enjoyed this one. I like stouts and thought this one had a unique sweetness.

12oz bottle. Pours a beautiful, dark black appearance; cocoa-colored head with excellent retention and lacing. Sweet, cocoa and roasted malts in the aroma; slightly smoky. Medium carbonation. Velvety mouthfeel: cocoa and milk chocolate upfront; some smoke and roasted malts; satisfying density and very drinkable; light hoppiness. Lengthy, dry chocolate and cocoa finish.

Opaque dark brown. Thick, frothy dark tan head. Whooshing carbonation. Solid burnt malt aroma and oats and barley with caramel hints intertwined. A little watery initially but deep with black malt flavor and smooth burnt chocolate and oats. Extended burnt malt yet soothing aftertaste. Medium light body. Finishes thicker with a hint of currant fruitiness and bittersweet chocolate, cola syrup. Another brew that got better as it went along.

Big thick head, almost black in appearance. Very presentable stout. Rather hoppy, roasty aroma, pleasant. Medium bodied, oily, medium chocolate roast. This stout has a good plan but failed to implement.

This beer poured with a large tan head and resembled used motor oil. The nose was of coffee and chocolate. This was a mild stout which was good, because some stouts are just too overbearing at times. This stout had a nice coffee flavor.

Bottle... Pours pitch black with a huge, frothy, well-tanned, everlasting head. Diminishes to a small, permanent, creamy layer. The aroma is all molasses, chocolate and espresso. Full-bodied and very creamy with soft carbonation. Medium-sweet with heaps of molasses and roasted nuts layered over nudges of coffee and chocolate. Deeply roasted, bittersweet finish. A big SHOUT goes out to juiceisloose for passing this surprisingly good beer on to me!
