Commercial Description:
Grace House is the dwelling on the grounds of the winery and brewery and was constructed in the 1840s. Like the style of the Grace House, this ale is brewed in a more delicate style. We blend wheat and barley malts to produce this light-bodied golden ale. With just a touch of sweetness from locally-produced clover honey, it finishes clean and smooth with a slightly fruity aroma.

Bottle: Poured a golden dark yellow. Faint wheat, reminded me of a Pilsner. The flavor sucked. It was like drinking dirty dish water. I took a sip, looked at my wife and said yuck. My first drain pour.

Bottle. Pours gold with a big off white head. Light wheat and honey aroma. Medium body. Flavor is lightly sweet with flowers, honey and wheat. Not bad i guess.

Clean gold body with little head. Aroma is sweet and malty with a touch of honey. Flavour has a strong honey taste and bit of graininess. Medium palate.

Bottle. Slightly hazy gold body. Kind of a lager-ish aroma with some honey. It is in fact very fizzy, though that’s less a problem for this style than is it for WV’s Oatmeal Stout, IMO. The taste is light, honey with a few hops. Crisp. For hot weather if at all.

This was not a very different from most wheat beer. Still a nice beer though.

Pours a translucent golden with a medium foamy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of honey, hops, some spices, floral notes and pleasant. Flavors of honey, mixed citrus, floral, some wheat tartness and even some light hop bitterness.

sampled on tap at the brewery. Clear golden in color with a medium off white head. The aroma: wheat, some spicy hops and a touch of caramel and honey. Taste: lightly malty with pale, biscuity, and wheat malts. light floral hop presence throughout. A nice subtle honey sweetness across the palate. Light to medium bodied, with a lingering honey sweetness and light hop bitterness in the finish. This was a pretty well crafted session ale.
