Commercial Description:
Grace House is the dwelling on the grounds of the winery and brewery and was constructed in the 1840s. Like the style of the Grace House, this ale is brewed in a more delicate style. We blend wheat and barley malts to produce this light-bodied golden ale. With just a touch of sweetness from locally-produced clover honey, it finishes clean and smooth with a slightly fruity aroma.

12oz bottle–pours a big foamy white head and gold color. Aroma is herbal hops, light malt-sweet, yeast. Taste is herbal hops, light malt-sweet, yeast. Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this.

Faint, nondescript, lager-like aroma of grain and perhaps a specter of honey...Light clover honey flavors slowly swell to a dangerous, flowery and powdery deodorant perfume...A terribly weak body is the last straw for me, this is feeble even for the wretched honey wheat category...

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of honey, wheat, light citrus. Tastes of honey with some earthy hints and a light citrussy finish.

Hazy golden ale with a thin creamy white head, ot much carbonation left. Aroma of sweet honey and lemon cough drops, chemical. In mouth, the honey is very much in your face, a bit too much even, due to the rather light body. Not a complete waste, Ill cook shrimps with the rest of the beer.

Bottle (12oz). Like most WVs, it foamed up a MoFo - slightly amberish pale gold with a fizzy white head - looks like apple juice. Dry aroma, sharp peppery yeast - was this made in Québec? - stale and very harsh on the nose, and there’s something like oxidized apple cores in there too. The taste is nasty - cheap, sugary, harsh, some sort of fruity syrup gone sour, dry sharp yeast - ugh. Light body, syrupy, bitter harsh finish, way overcarbonated. Ugh.

(Bottle) Pours nearly headless with a non-carbonated clear orange body. Seems lifeless? Nose of wheat and corn. The medicinal flavour of wheat and adjunct reminds me of an ill-fated trip to Saskatchewan. Yikes this is bad...

Pours a translucent golden with a medium foamy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of honey, hops, some spices, floral notes and pleasant. Flavors of honey, mixed citrus, floral, some wheat tartness and even some light hop bitterness.

Mine’s excessively fizzy (bad bottle?) and tastes fairly wheaty for an American-style wheat. Cloudy. What is "Grace House"? Although one of this brewery’s beers won some sort of award, I don’t think their other brews are anything to get excited about (plus, their labels need work - see Victory Brewing for good labels).
