| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Pours with big foamy head and a clear apple juice color (stole that description from HogTownHarry) with ample visible bubbles of carbonation. Very strong head that takes a long time to subside but the lacing is not sticky. Aroma is very sharp and crisp with German-esque floral hops and touches of caramel sweetness. Some present malt biscuit in there as well. Taste is again sharp from the carbonation and a floral/grassiness that’s so refreshing. A light body but NOT a water-y mouthfeel, which is medium bodied with a strong stinging carbonation. The flavor finishes with a light bitterness and a bubbling at the back of the throat. So refreshing, quaffable, and returnable, I don’t know what it is about this brewer but I seem to like most of their stuff and the rest of the raters do not agree. 12oz bottle, Hopfen-Weisse straightened weizen glass.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear straw gold body with a moderate fizzy white head that faded to a sparse film fairly quickly. The nose is pretty light and delicate, some hay and grassy notes with a subtle accent of natural smelling honey. Very light in the flavor as well, the honey is pretty prominent giving it a somewhat floral character. Light wheat with no yeast character. Finishes rather short with a slight hop tinge. Mouthfeel is light bodied and thin, as expected, with moderate fizzy carbonation. This wasn’t the most flavorful beer, but given how poor so many American Wheats are, this is actually pretty decent comparably. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Looks like this one has had some mixed reviews. The current 2.3 overall score is a bit low in my opinion. This was a very smooth refreshing lawnmower beer that actually had some flavor imparted to it by the honey. While not my favorite style, this is a well crafted light beer. TomDecapolis (3168), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of honey, hops, some spices, floral notes and pleasant. Flavors of honey, mixed citrus, floral, some wheat tartness and even some light hop bitterness. Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2007 sampled on tap at the brewery. Clear golden in color with a medium off white head. The aroma: wheat, some spicy hops and a touch of caramel and honey. Taste: lightly malty with pale, biscuity, and wheat malts. light floral hop presence throughout. A nice subtle honey sweetness across the palate. Light to medium bodied, with a lingering honey sweetness and light hop bitterness in the finish. This was a pretty well crafted session ale.
