Apr 26, 2004 clear brown, off white head. earthy, piney, grapefruit hop aroma. tangy hop and caramel flavour is nice but a little one dimensional. earthy bitter finish. not bad.

Apr 26, 2004 TAP NY sample. Creamy wisp of a head, medium amber color. Low-energy fruity nose, fair amount of unending bitterness throughout..dry and just a bit cardboardy at the finish. Pretty decent.

Apr 25, 2004 Very Bitter and salty and not as hoppy as expected. I think I kept it from becoming too cold and flattening the hops effect. I got a head. Maybe it was Premier Gourmet storing it too cold or old. Did not get the hops or citrus flavour expected from this brew or the IPA type.

Apr 10, 2004 Pint at brewery. The IPA is a hazy amber with a good hop nose. The flavor is pleasantly hoppy. The malt charecter is quite subdued, to the point of not being an adequate balance for the hops, which finish somewhat astringent.

Mar 28, 2004 Citrus hops nose, orange, with a vanilla head. Nicely hopped flavour, some good malt in the aftertaste. Medium/light bodied, pleasantly bitter. A very nice example!
