| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2006 There seems to be a very grapefruit-like tone and the bitterness seems well balanced by the malts with more of the bitterness lying in the finish. It seems pretty organic and refreshing but not striking. Its a nice beer to drink and it has an orange-copper color which makes it seem appealing. Nothing earth shattering but pleasant at the same time. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2006 Pours with a large off-white head over a light amber body.
Fruity aroma with delicate flowery hops.
Bitter flavor that has a good malt support. Earthy hop flavor. Good balance of hops and malt. Suttree (2742), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Clear copper, thin beige head. Nice "pop" in the aroma - mostly pine & toffee, which is echoed in the flavor. Nice earthy, musty flavors combine with piney hops, with just a touch of citrus. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2006 This is the first Wagner Valley beer I’ve had. I was pleased enough that I’m interested in finding some more of their beers. This is one that I thought was mostly simple but would be great for a party where you are session drinking or maybe a suitable trasition beer. It is assertive in it hops but mild enough and well balanced enough to be completely approachable.
Appearance: Pours a coppery orange color with a smidge of haze.
Smell: Mild floral citrus nose.
Taste: A solid citrus hop character is balanced by a sweet caramel malt flavor. Simple, straightforward, and tasty.
Mouthfeel: Smooth medium body IPA.
Drinkability: This beer does not send off fireworks but it sure goes down easily.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2006 Bold orange with white head that stay till the end of the glass. Pine, malt, hoppy aroma. Palate is bitter with lots of malt there along with a real lot of hops. Think grapefruit. Dry dry finish. I like my IPAs and I like this one they did it right. Beautiful citrus and pine aroma with some caramel undertones. Flavor is mildly bitter citrus and pine with some caramel and dry toffee with a touch of doughiness. Surprisingly nice IPA. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 8, 2006 Good stuff. Pours golden brown with a sticky looking head with large bubbles. Aroma is great hops, really strong and fresh. Flavor is sweeter than the aroma, but balanced and refreshing. A bit watery, but still really good.
