| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2003 Dry earthy malt and English hop aroma. Clear copper color with a whispy lacing white head. Definitely more of an English style IPA with toned down hops and a full, drier malt character. Lightly sweet body finishes more bitter and warming. Very smooth and enjoyable, but an average IPA. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Pours dark copper, almost ruby red with a medium, creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, fruit, spice, pine. Tastes malty, hoppy, with a fruity, spicy finish. Medium palate. Finishes hoppy, dry, slightly sour, with a slightly "off....metallic" taste at the finish, which I had to deduct for. A good, but not elite, IPA.
