Pours cloudy gold with a huge pillow head and great lacing. Looked real good in the glass. Flavor matches aroma. Start out sweet and as a crisp tart finish. Palate is tart and clean. I liked it, must have gotten a good bottle. blipp (1764), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy amber/yellow with a bubbly white head. Light caramel malt aroma, a bit of apple, and spicy/herbal hops. Medium body. Flavor is again, caramel, apple, and spicy/herbal hops. This is actually a pretty good beer. arventresca (343), Greenville, North Carolina, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Could have been a solid pilsner (I want to say that the hop profile was close to perfect) but had this very distracting extract-like twang to it. Oh well, not bad for a brewery attached to a winery. hophead75 (1964), Boonton, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2007 12 oz bottle from Westmere Beverage in Albany. Hazy light amber/orange in color. This was a gusher! calmed down relatively quickly. Not too bad of an aroma with floral hops and some crackery grain/cereal in the background. Taste was rather thin and painfully carbonated at first, after it settled down it was a bit better. Pale malts and some munich in the taste as well as some saaz hops. A bit dirty and unrefined though. Overall, not too bad, perhaps if this was a bit fresher it would have been better. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Gold pour with almost no head or lace. Aroma is corn like and wet paper. Flavor is sweet corn and light paper. No bitter to speak off. A drinkable beer. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Wandered into Wagner Valley by accident, while on a Finger Lakes wine tour with my dad. Lliked the pilsner when I had it at the brewery tasting. Found that it conformed to the parameters of the style: hoppy, crisp, fresh, and quaffable. Dry nose, straw-colored, sudsy head. Good mouthfeel. boto (1349), Granby, Connecticut, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2006 12oz. bottle: This one pours a clear, lighter amber color. There was a small off white head that drops off rather quickly. The aroma is a bit weak, but I get some grapefruit out of it and not too much else. The taste is rather uninspiring. Somewhat metallic, with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Definitely not as good as some of their other offerings.
