Commercial Description:
Traditionally, the winemaker's beverage of choice during grape harvest is often beer; hence, this ale is dedicated to winemakers everywhere. It is a truly traditional American pale ale, medium-bodied and full of Chinook and Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest. It has an intense floral and spicy aroma and flavor with just a hint of caramel malt.

Light copper colour; earthy-floral nose; bitter palate with good hop dosage and hints of biscuity, caramelly malt balance.

The classic grapefruity C-hop fragrance portends an all-hop affair...Oranges surge in the mouth to diversify the linear hoppy path and earth accompanies them not far behind...The C-hops dominate the palate and sometimes reach chemical freshener level if you look deeply...The clean body is perfect for tasty quenching, which I think to be this pale ale’s purpose...

Hazy amber in colour with a thick froathy off-white head, lacing. Nice aroma of caramle and c-hops, light citrusy notes. In mouth, classic pale ale with nice malt base, and nice mix of bitterness and grapefruit, dryish, and lingering. Light to medium in bodied, but quite quaffable. Bottle is about a year old.

(Bottle) Pours a very thin, white head and a non-carbonated amber body. Nose is nicely hopped with mild malt playing into the fold. Very hoppy flavour with a mild tinniness. Last cascade hop bitterness in the finish. Good.

Chock full of Chinook and Cascades, this APA is exactly what it says it is. Lame head, though. Hops are evident in the aroma, too. Nice.

Hoppy and can taste the cascade so it’s almost like some IPAs I’ve had. Citrusy aroma and flavor to boot. Yellow-gold color. Served too cold and has little head. Not outstanding in any way but enjoyable, quaffable beer with session potential. Finishes dry.

This is a pretty darn good pale ale, with a wave of hops in the beginning, sime citrusy bitterness in the middle, and a blast of maltiness in the finish. This is medium-bodied, but pretty full bodied as far as pale ales go. If you want to try a Wagner beer, this should be the one.
