Malty aroma, slightly cereal-like. Pours dark amber with no head. Nice malt flavor! Caramelly and slightly toasty, with a nice spicy hop flavor. Very good dopplebock very smooth!

Pours a clean red/brown color body with a small white lace. Aroma is sweet cola with some raisins. Flavor is on the sweet side with a lot of brown sugar ad molasses. Just a bit on the thin side.

A medium ruby body. Nice tan head fades quickly. Nose has rich malt, meladonin, rich black cherry, a hint of brightness from something I can’t identify. Flavor is huge mant, meladonin. A bit too much bitterness - I can’t decide if this is from hops or a handful of dark malt. Somewhat tingly. Sweet malt/meladonin finish.

On tap. Pours a clear dark copper color with a bit of a whote head. Sweet aroma of molasses, caramel and malts. Taste was almost complex with malts, some hops, and molasses. Poor consistency. Weak for a doppelbock. Wagner makes much better wine.

Bottle. Bright/shiny copper body with an off-white tannish head. Smells alright - has some caramel, toast, and cookie sweetness. Burnt malt flavours accompanied by smooth caramel malts. A respectable brew.
