A deep red beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet alcoholic with strong notes of berries. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel, alcohol, and berries, leading to an alcoholic end. Inspite of the high ABV, the body is a bit thin.

Light mahogany; rather light-tasting for a doppelbock; some dark malt flavours, but nowhere near as assertive as they should be.

(Brewtopia04) Sparkling copper body with virtually no head. Aroma is sweet, fruity (cherry, orange, some grape), sticky caramel. Taste is rich, sweet, cherry, some grapefruit, light orange, herbal. Finish is medium alcohol burn. Full body.

Poured a dark, but clear, mahogany color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of cherries, dark fruits with some caramel. Tastes of burnt brown sugar, dark fruits and caramel. Lightly sweet.

Swiftly diminishing beige head. Clear medium brown hue. Rather sweet and alcoholic aroma has tones of brown sugar and rootbeer. Mild tart notes, herbal… Palate proposes a slight acid peak with every sip and a sweet coating aftertaste. English alcoholic feel, mostly candi sugar flavours, ultimately not very pleasant. Medium body, intensely carbonated initially, but it all vanishes after just 2 seconds to appear rather flat…

Sparkling clear, ruby lager. Smells like port and chocolate-covered cherries. Malty, vineous, lightly chocolatey flavor. Decently balanced for a doppelbock. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, malty, slightly tangy finish. Thanks to Springslicker for the bottle.

Pours a clear bold copper with a thin lacy off-white head. Dry cardboard and earthy malty aroma with a touch of lager yeast. Sweet caramel malt and German lager yeasty body. A nice doppelbock, but needs to work on its aroma.

Defiant brown rum notes conjure up compliant candies...An earthy licorice centipede slowly traces its way through the creamy, sweet alcohol...Grassy hops spice things up, but the malt flavors sadly disappear and end in a fizzy, harsh and almost tasteless end...
