This poured out of the big bottle with a nice frothy tan head and an attractive dark ruby red color. This beer is all about the dark sweetness with lots of caramel, plums, dried fruit and a warming alcohol sensation. We drank this with the doppel and this was more harsh but still very good beer.

Dark mahogany with a small head and spotty lacing. Rich in caramel and dark malts in the nose. Cinnamon and figs with bitter hops. Flavors are big in the roasty and toasted malts. Caramel with bitter hops and a fig touch. Thick and cloying with a bitter, malty finish.

Ruby auburn, good lacing. Nose of rich malts & sweet fruity notes, a bit of alcohol too. The flavor is hot & sweet with nice rich malts. Applicable to a triplebock but eh.

From the bottle this brew pours a dark mahogany witha medium off-white head. This brew had more of a barleywine characteristic, very fruity, brown sugar, dates, and raisin. Very smooth with a good weight on the palate.

GABF - A red looking off-white head beer. Carmel/malty smell with a bit of pine. Taste was OK but, nothing special.

Almost clear ruby with a thin ring of white foam. Aroma is an excellent blend of toasty/caramely malt, citrusy hops, and fruit (cherry, white grape). Grape, raisin, pine hops flavours blend with a spicy and caramel/toffee malt followed by a gentle bitterness. Medium body and light carbonation.
