Pours a deep black with a medium bubbly/creamy tan head. Aroma of vanilla, maple, chocolate, sweet malts, a little solventy, Flavor of roasted malts, maple syrup, hints of smoke, some vanilla and chocolate. Thin for a porter.

Dark amber that was a bit hard to see through with a toffee head. Sweet malty aroma that had slight rosted hints. There was a mute maple sweetness trying to come through. The flavour was thick with sweet malts and sugary hints. I didn’t find it too cloying and seemed to be in good balance. Finish is oily and not too watery and not too thick.

The color was fantismal. The head looked like some frothy clay water. I was pumped at the very beggining. I could certainly taste maple. it was thick. like walking through mud. But it was wicked. Great beer. great beer to be number ONE HUNDRED!!! yeah baby!!!! you like that? Wheres my medal?

Brewery Tasting: A decent porter, much i didn’t get any maple flavors. There was mollasas and a touch or vanilla, but i was hopping to be overpowered by at least some maple

growler from the brewery. Dark brown, small head which quickly disappears. Nice beer, a molasses taste, smooth with a hint of coffee/chocolate. Very drinkable.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark, cola-brown color; light tan head with web-like lacing. Light, roasted malt aroma. A short burst of acidic coffee at the front, followed by smooth roasted malts and chewy maple syrup notes; hints of vanilla and slightly metallic. Medium, dry chocolate and light roasted coffee finish.

Poured a dark brown color with a large amount of froathy medium brown head. Aroma very roasty and sweet, kinda like molases and coffee beans. Flavor was very creamy and smooth but not in a lacticy way, rather more earthy and a nice underlying sweetness. Overall, enjoyable.

Bottle. Via beastiefan2k. POurs black with reddish hues. Big tan head. Chocolate aromas, roast malt and an almost lager-like yeast smell. Sweet flavor with the maple syrup very evident and up-front. Burnt sugar, smoke and a decent, understated bitterness. Smokey finish.
