Fin (1993), Merton, Oxfordshire, England May 6, 2008 750ml bottle from Londis Westholme stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon 03-05-08 Light-mid golden in colour with white head. Some pepperyness, galangal and light spiciness in the mouth, and spicey hops and woodiness on the nose. Finishes quite dry and with a nice flurry of bitterness, very good yet again from Wagtail.
Mes_and_Sim (3903), London, Greater London, England Jun 22, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle from Kris Wines. You know what? Wagtail are bloody good. This is excellent stuff. Beautifully floral and aromatic. Big fruity aroma with a solid pale malt base. Clean pale gold colour with an impressive head. Glorious flavour of lemony hops with a sprinkling of sherbert, Wonderfully dry and drinkable. Excellent bitterness in the finish. Very good stuff indeed. cgarvieuk (2119), Edinburgh, Scotland May 15, 2008 Bottle at home ... Pale blonde ... light fruit hop nose .. light slight sweet fruity ness little honey... well made but it all i dont like about UK ales. Just not workin for me DruncanVeasey (1515), Burbage, Germany Apr 13, 2008 Bottle. Pale and yellowy with a fine white head. Delicately spiced aroma of coriander seed, cumin, citrussy/celery-like hops, buttery pale malt, ganja. Flavour light and faintly orange-accented, and completely dominated by a ridiculous long retronasal waft of buttery cornflake, wheat and biscuit. But I enjoyed it. Garrat (1064), Suffolk, England Feb 26, 2008 Updated: May 25, 2008Bottle.Golden with a medium head, amazing heady aroma of pine hops spice and leather, taste is hoppy and clean with cedar and a lovely musty edge, some citric too,dry light bitter finish.
