On tap at Walldorff. Murky orange-brown body, medium cream head. Aroma of clove and pepper, with light breadiness. This is the driest dunkelweizen I’ve sampled, with bold pepper, clove, and herbal notes and very little sweetness or banana. Malts are dry and toasty. Interesting beer, but something seemed to be missing.
