Commercial Description:
We're proud to present American Dream Ale, our unique West Coast IPA, in honor of American Beer Month. We picked the finest hops from Washington's Yakima Valley to give this historic pale ale a decidedly American twist. Floral, citrus and pine character burst from the Yakima hops to mix with the crisp, slightly dry malt flavor for a never bitter ale even the snobbiest limey would love.

On tap, San Diego. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with thin head. Aroma is light citrus, bready. Mid range citrus bitterness, refreshing finish. There is better beer to drink in San Diego, but still, this is a decent brew.

Tap at RB Colorado Springs 8/11/09-Pours a slightly hazy orangish amber. Aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of hops and orange. This medium bodied brew is not bad but the bottom drops out.

On tap at Rock Bottom Colorado Springs. Color is a hazy golden orange with average carbonation and a thin but tight head. Aroma of citrus. This medium bodied brew has an overpowering hop taste that lets a little orange come out and a big hay taste. After taste is dry. Not one of the better IPAs I have had.

Had this at the Indianapolis, IN location but unfortunately didn’t take good tasting notes beyond the numbers.

This IPA was the best of the four new beers that I sampled on my latest trip to the KoP location. The beer poured a beatiful and clear amber color with a thick off-white head. The head left a good amount of lacing around the glass. The nose was full of hops, red pepper, bread and a little hint of grass. The body was extrememly smooth and drinkable. I reallly could have sat at that bar all night and drank nothing but this beer. It makes for a great session brew. The flavors are delicious, with tons of hoppy spices, bread, a little grapefruit and a hint of earth. The finish was dry and spicy. This was a very well-done IPA.

At Minnesota. Nice hoppy IPA. Some malts. Above average taste and body. Better than expected.

From Des Moines branch, labeled as 5.93% I think. On tap at Brewfest 09. A little malty sweetness. Aroma is great, just like opening a bag of hops, very raw, very nice.
