dnstone (135), , New Jersey, USA Oct 22, 2009 Cara-malt and apple peel aroma. Appears slightly hazy amber. Tastes exactly how it smells. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Jul 18, 2009 Clear yellow orange. Tiny amount of smell. Some bitter hops. Very soft and gentle taste. A bit chalky and plain. Nothing to complain about. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Mar 21, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Hey fantastic a bitter that’s actually bitter. Nice balance and flavor. Pretty damn nice. High bitter finish. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 17, 2008 Draught at the brewpub.
Clear amber coloured with a small white head.
Fruity aroma of malts and grapes.
Fruity flavour of malts, caramel and hops with notes of grass and grape fruits.
Hoppy finish. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada Oct 12, 2008 This is a pretty amazing ESB and dangerously drinkable. Normally when I go to a brewpub I would not order the same pint twice but this beer was good I had one at lunch and one at dinner. The food at this brewpub also warranted a second visit.Only 147 of MJ’s Classic Brews to go. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 6, 2008 tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with a mildly citrus accented hop aroma. The caramel malt is joined by moderately bitter hops in this medium bodied, easily quaffed ESB that offers a lingering bitter finish. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA Nov 1, 2007 Tap @ Walnut: Poured a clear deep amber color with an off-white head. Caramel malt with a touch of coffee. The flavor was fruity with some sweet malt. Not really bitter but good taste. Maybe some chocolate on the finish. Light to medium body.
