This is a pretty amazing ESB and dangerously drinkable. Normally when I go to a brewpub I would not order the same pint twice but this beer was good I had one at lunch and one at dinner. The food at this brewpub also warranted a second visit.Only 147 of MJ’s Classic Brews to go.

Tap @ Walnut: Poured a clear deep amber color with an off-white head. Caramel malt with a touch of coffee. The flavor was fruity with some sweet malt. Not really bitter but good taste. Maybe some chocolate on the finish. Light to medium body.

dark color for an ESB. Aromas didn’t really hit me over the head. A little bit of Noble Brit hops and toasty malts. flavors show tasted malts, carmel and crisp hops. Good, but nothing to write home about.

Medium in taste. Sweet through most of the flavor but with a dull bitterness in the finish. Good enough.

tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with a mildly citrus accented hop aroma. The caramel malt is joined by moderately bitter hops in this medium bodied, easily quaffed ESB that offers a lingering bitter finish.
