| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 20, 2003 Dark black with a frothy tan head. Coffee-like nose. Very soft and smooth texture. Roasty and toasty with notes of coffee and chocolate. Mild bitterness sensation at first, but it becomes more pronounced in the aftertaste. Healthy dose of sourness is thrown in the mix. Overall, had a raw, "homebrew-like" quality to it that I kind of liked. Ernest (4491), Boulder, Colorado, USA
