Commercial Description:
Dark-colored, robust, full-bodied malt flavor. This smooth and drinkable ale is served on a nitrogen tap. The Devil's Thumb Stout goes well with any of our aged steaks. Or consider pairing with a chocolate dessert.

Nitro Tap. Awesome heavy malty profile with hints of chocolate. A lingering heavy dark brown head. A smooth and creamy stout.

Tap @ brewpub. Dark color, short head. Bit sweet, some chocolat. Bit sticky mouthfeel. Nothing spectacular and maybe a little sweet for a stout, lacks some bitterness.

On tap with Nitro: Not a big fan, I think it makes the beer seem flat. Pours a dark color that is heavy and has a tan froathy head. Descent not as good as I hoped though.

tap at the brewpub - Pours black with a very long lasting tan head. I drank it last from the sampler after nearly an hour and it was still hanging on. The nitro tap means very fine carbonation and a smooth palate. Roast chocolate malt is the main aroma and it’s joined in the flavor by some good hops balance that lingers pleasantly in the finish. It’s a very good stout.
