Commercial Description:
Deep amber color, smooth malty character with an herbal hoppy nose finish. Any of our Classics complement the toasted, malty notes of this spirited Red ale.

I’ll say it right off the bat, I’m a sucker for a well made irish red. Malty aroma. It almost smells red! Complex flavors of carmel, nuts, and earthy tones. Herbal hoppy finish. Only Conway’s Irish Ale beats this in my opinion.

on tap-pours a white head and copper color. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt-caramel, nutty, secondary hops with some bite. Easy drinking, OK carbonation.

Tap @ Walnut: Poured a clear red maber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of sweet toffee and mildly fruity malt. Some earthiness. The flavor was of caramel sweet malt. The hops are earthy with some citrus on the end. Medium body and semi-dry.

Tap. A dark and typical red ale. A mild body with a great aftertaste. A tan frothy head. Much better than Killian’s.

DRAFT: Light copper and mostly clear with a thinnish head; some lace. Nicely carbonated. Healthy malt base. Notes of grain, caramel and wood. Slightly bitter hops were flavorful. CASK: Frothy, lasting head. Smooth and very earthy. A little musty. Candy corn sweetness exudes. Hops dry out the mouth a little in the finish. Pretty good.
