| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 2, 2006 Revolution! The first new beer from this antique brewery in at least 30 years! Orange beer with foxy shine; fluffy, just off-white head! Bit oppressive nose with malts, ambrée m., but also greenmalt, peanuts and a lot of coriandery typed citrus. Same taste, rather sweet-malty with both orangey and coriander-y flavours. Bit of caramel as well, strawberry jam. Bit sticky, near cloying but held in check by the citrus. Let’s not be too harsh for this first. If there is a future for this brewery, I’m all for it. Still, a bit of work could be done upon this one.
