May 9, 2006 Not very complex, and not as sweet as the label would have you believe, but this is a relatively tart, appley, frulty cider that’s not of the French variety at all. Not like a Normandy cider, because this Oregon cider lacks the musty, cobwebby, bandaidy flavors that mark the complex French ciders. Instead, it’s somewhat two-dimensional. On the plus side, this Oregon cider hides its alcohol extremely well, perhaps behind the sweetness. Overally, a touch too tart.
