Commercial Description:
Our semi-dry cider is styled after the fine ciders of Somerset, England. Just shy of dry, this cider has just the perfect amount of residual sugar to bring forward the delicate fruit and light ginger spice. This cider has a nice delicate weight that finishes with ripe apple skin flavors. Notes of dried fruit, ripe pear, citrus and green apple make this a beautiful pair to fish, poultry, pork, barbeque, or by itself on the porch. Serve chilled.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Sonoma, CA. Pours gold with a few white bubbles. Nice of aroma of very slightly sour grren apples - or could be green apple skin. Near medium body with spritely carbonation. Fresh, clean taste of greenish appples with a touch of citrus. A little astringent. There’s an undertone of hot spice of some sort towards the finish. Complicated. Good stuff.

750ml - A bright golden body with very little head. The aroma is crisp semi green/red apples, you know the apples that have the blush streaks of red and green; hell, I don’t know much about apple varieties, I’ve just eaten a lot of them. The flavor is rather dry, an awesome earthy and grassy tartness, a bit mineral-y. Taste like a crisp juicy perfectly ripened apple, but also reminds me of a lightly carbonated French Chardonnay. My palate picks up more tart than sweet. Nice mouthfeel, perfect carbonation. I’m a huge fan of boutique ciders… Very complex and artisan!

This was paired with a Gewurztraminer. Not the usual crisp bite of a cider, or carbonation, more a mellow sweetness with just a slight bitterness. Easy on the palate, and a soft body as well. Such an amazing cider. Different but one of the best.

Pours a clear golden hue with no head. Aroma is of apples, grapes, weird - wine like smell, and some spices. Flavor has a sweet alcoholic beginning followed by a very sour, astringent ending. Sour apples flavor is very prominent at the end of this cider. Dry texture, with a watery like mouth feel. Light carbonation. Interesting tasting cider. I was hoping to buy the sweeter one, but the wine house in West LA was all out. Not bad at all, but I think I would have liked it a tad bit sweeter.

Golden pour with a thick aroma of tart apple, spice, and a light woodiness. Flavor is slightly sweet with a nice degree of carbonation that plays well off some sweet/tart apples. Quite flavorful. Nice cider.

Bottle. Pours with a small, fizzy, quickly leaving white head. Aroma is sweet apples, ginger, and cinnamon. Taste is sweet at first, then dry, then finishes, tart/sour. It is sourness/acidity is enough to make me think that my bottle might have a bit of brett or some other wild yeast in it (but in a pleasant way). Water like mouthfeel. Lighly fizzy.

Very clear pour with a small white head to it, nice light amber hue. This cider was on the sweeter side, light tartness up front and mild acidity, then nice sweet apple flavor followed. Enjoyable sweeter cider.
