KnutAlbert (3101), Oslo, Norway Jul 23, 2009 Can from a Sardinia supermarket.
Among the best of the Italian discount beers. Thin and watery, but a little hoppy freshness in the finish. Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 20, 2009 660ml bottle. Very pale, golden body with a diminishing white head. Almost no aroma, some grain maybe. Not much flavor either, some grain and straw, and then as a big surprise some well-pronounced bitterness in the aftertaste. But this bitterness seems almost to be a bit artificial and inconstant. A pretty weird beer that’s not exactly undrinkable but not very pleasant either. One of the most ugly beer labels I have ever seen looks like cough medicine. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland Jul 7, 2008 Canned. Pale golden in color, minor white head. The aroma has to have hints of corn and malt as well. The flavor is a mtellic and malty mixture, quite watery. Thanx to Dorqui for this one! Very pale yellow color, small white head. Metallic, papery nose. Crisp carbonation. Very light, watery. Sweetish malty with a bit hard metallic mouthfeel. Prototype of a cheap supermarket lager. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Mar 21, 2008 Canned (thanks mabjork). Pale yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is hay, earth and barnyard. Malts, earth, rubber and maize in the flavour. Not very pleasant and very watery as for the palate. FrankJohansen (3327), Sabro, Denmark Jun 29, 2007 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a small white head. Barnyard aroma. Weak taste of malt and hops. Boring. saxo (3511), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Jun 29, 2007 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is very pale yellow. Aroma and taste are barnyard malt and straw. Quite watery. HenrikSoegaard (4260), Randers, Denmark Jun 29, 2007 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hopy aroma. Almost no flavor. Short finish. Very watery palate. I dont think this can candidate to more than a pale lager.
