harrisoni (5129), Ashford, Kent, England Feb 5, 2008 Cask conditioned handpull at Market Porter, Borough Market. Strange to have a Wapping beer in London. Copper colour with thin beige head. Nutty yeasty caramel. Unusual Wapping beer as it is not full of hops. Malt/caramel aroma. Dry malts in mouth. Some hop on end to balance, but not one of their best. Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England Jan 30, 2008 Cask @ The Market Porter, Borough, London. Colour is deep brown / copper. Aroma is roast malts / dark fruits / toffee / coffee / chocolate. Taste is oaky / dark fruits / syrupy. Finsh is slightly sweet. Overall nicely balanced. Very enjoyable. DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Jan 30, 2008 Cask @ Market Porter, Borough, London. Caramel nose. pours a deep copper colour. Vinegar, toffee, malt in the nose. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. No lacing present. Some bitterness then medium sweet finish. Roasted malts, mature wood give a nice balance to the taste. Quite nice.
