Magic_dave6 (4000), London, Greater London, England Sep 14, 2008 Bottle at GBBF with ohh la la disco boyz. Alround tasting: An essentially borihng but very drinkable golden ale, pale malt with grassy hop. Iv had it quite a few thousand times before. Dastrn (66), Warsaw, Indiana, USA Sep 12, 2008 Poured a pale golden yellow with a healthy 3-finger head.
Smell was citrus and dough.
Taste was very clean and weak. It’s down your throat before you even taste it. Not much hops in the flavor at all, and the malts are weak as well. This would have been better if they’d added just enough hops to give it some character. All around, pretty weak, but drinkable. WakeandBake (89), Greenville, Michigan, USA Sep 9, 2008 Bottle. A nice golden pour, with a white head, plenty of carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Very balanced flavor of malt, hops and a slight citrus finish. Very nice offering. ,, tasty. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 @Indiana Beerfest-pours a light tan head and gold color. Aroma is medium malt, slight spice hops. Taste is continental hops (Hallertau), secondary medium malt. Crisp. From others recent comments, seems like a bottling issue, as this was tasty.
Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Aug 17, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF. Gold with a thin off white head. Sweet and floral. Caramel malt base with a dull metallic finish. Drinks like a standard pale lager.
