Commercial Description:
Mustang Gold Ale is the perfect entry point into the world of "drinkable" craft beers. We brew Mustang Gold for those who want an ultra-smooth all-malt flavor, without any extra color or aftertaste. Typical light golden beers are made with "extenders," like rice and corn. Not this one. Once you've tasted an all-malt golden beer, you'll never go back. Yes, you'll pay a little more for this craft beer. Go ahead. You're worth it.

On draft at the Thirsty Camel in Fort Wayne, IN this came a very clear gold with small white head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts. Smooth clean mouthfeel. Flavor is simple and malty and somewhat grassy. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at GBBF 08. Gold, thick beige head. Not a great aroma. Poorish lagery type beer. Bit of yeast. Bit of aggressive hop/bit metallic. Really qute poor.

Sweet honey, malt and flowers. Sweet and sticky. Medium bodied. Seems good but suddenly goes off flavor near the end. Same with the aroma. Kind of off.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, sweet malt, some biscuits. Tastes of sweet malt, apples, light crispness. A good every day beer.
