Commercial Description:
Mustang Gold Ale is the perfect entry point into the world of "drinkable" craft beers. We brew Mustang Gold for those who want an ultra-smooth all-malt flavor, without any extra color or aftertaste. Typical light golden beers are made with "extenders," like rice and corn. Not this one. Once you've tasted an all-malt golden beer, you'll never go back. Yes, you'll pay a little more for this craft beer. Go ahead. You're worth it.

Medium gold body with and egg whites looking head. The aroma has some grain and old almonds. There is also a little bit of black tea. The taste has some light notes of sweet bread, the type you get at hotel brunches in place of donuts. There is also a little bit of iced tea in the finish. Decent.

Thanks to Jeff for the bottle! Poured slightly hazy medium orange with some flakes of sediment floating around and an fizzy cap of white head. The aroma was crisp and bready with hefty doses of honey and corn backing it up.. light grassy hops if you really get your nose in there. The flavor was ratherdull, but not offensive.. dry honey and bread at the base with mild floral and grassy bitterness around the edges.. dry, tacky finish. Light-bodied and dry, as mentioned above, on the palate.. this was certainly drinkable, but had nothing to make me go back.

12 oz. bottle via trade with jsquire - Pours a slightly hazy amber color due to the sediment I accidently poured in the glass. Has a one finger thick off white head. Aroma is light esters and herbal hops. Flavor is lightly sweetened malt, faint esters, and light herbal hops. Light to medium body. What I like best about this beer is the cool bottle label. As an aircraft buff, a cool label like this one is worth a few extra tenths in the Overall slot. A nice addition to my aircraft bottle collection. Thanks Jeff.

Hazy gold beer with a white fizzy head that dissappeared pretty quickly. Cereal grain nose with some grapefruit. Caramel sweetness with lots of raw grain huskiness and some nuttiness. I get some berry and lemon toward the end. Not very interesting.

12 oz, "ideal by" date is not stamped. Clear orange-gold beer with a three-finger head that settles to a small creamy ring, leaving some nice little frosting on the glass. Aroma is slight: maybe some dry grain, apple cider, and a touch of honey. Flavor is dry Cheerios cereal, not-too-sweet dried apple, and a dash of bitter herbs. Toasted nut, and almost some cocoa in the aftertaste. Light medium body is smooth, but tingly with the right amount of carbonation, and surprisingly dry. Way underrated for the category.

This was my least favorite Warbird Ale. Clear straw body, thin off-white head. Nose with dry cereals (Cheerios) and grassy hops. Thin, dry body, watery, with stale cereals and light grassiness. Definitely an "entry" beer.

12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with no head to speak of. The aroma was slight sweet malt and fruit. The flavor was more a slight toasted malt, barely any fruitiness, and finished dry. Thin and watery.

Draft: Pours a pale gold-yellow, no head. Little to no aroma except for a light malt essence. Dry, astringent bitter taste that hints at some piney hops and a touch of the malt.
