A charred malt and caramel taste with a little fruit, and a slight hop finish. Way better as it warms, takes on a sweeter note. Nice offering. MesandSim (5940), London, Greater London, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF. Amber gold with a decent off white head. A reasonable balance of grassy hop and caramel malt. Rather sweet in the mouth with faint notes of hazelnut. Sweet again in the finish that is a little too swift and uneventful. maeib (4762), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
