Amber-orange body with a short beige head. Crisp malty taste with lingering biscuit and caramel malt. Bittersweet taste throughout. Medium-thin body with some herbiness. Smooth little session, though it veers slightly vegetal toward the end. Aftertaste is dry and caramelly. Worth a go. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2007 From a can so we know that its not light struck; pours a golden amber with a light white head. Very clear beer. the aroma is a nutty malt, somewhat sweet and with a bit of crystal and chocolate malt. The flavor is very full of nutty malt character. It’s toasty and sweet and also contains a little bit of an apple flavor at the back of the mouth. Clean and smooth malt flavors. It finishes calm and with sweet malt flavors. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2007 12oz can - Aroma is tons of crystal malt with a touch of hops. Pours clear amber with small head and decent lacing. Flavor is sweet and malty, too sweet and I don’t usually mind sweetness. Palate is clean. Non-offensive version of Killian’s Red (which is offensive). Not something I would drink again tough. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 10, 2007 A red ale with a common, but odd taste. Something akin to gelatin. Very balanced as the can suggests, but unique and low-key.
